Number Handshape game

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 0.

They are eleven basic numbers.

In sign language, they are eleven basic handshapes.

There is a popular game in Deaf culture that one can use some special handshape to make a word sign. Sometimes we even can create a whole story by 1-10 handshape or A-Z handshape.

You can see from the pictures below how CSL and ASL differ from each other in basic number handshapes. Jenny ( a deaf teacher from MDS ) and I tried to use every handshape to make an animal signs. But some handshapes are really hard to deal with. So we boarden the scope to the whole “nature”.Thus you can see star, earth and water in our signs.
